The FTCE General Knowledge Math Test has 4 competencies.
*** Competency 1 – Knowledge of number sense, concepts, and operations
*** Competency 2 – Knowledge of geometry and measurement
*** Competency 3 – Knowledge of algebraic thinking and the coordinate plane
*** Competency 4 – Knowledge of probability, statistics, and data interpretation
During the study session, you will focus solely on one or all four competencies. The idea is for you to become familiar and comfortable with the strands for the competencies. To say you will be doing math for 2 hours straight is an understatement. You will find that there are more than 2 hours worth of content to practice beyond the session.
